Meet Alex
Alex has been with The Hikers since the beginning. A co-founder, and the multi-instrumentalist of the band. Alex is a fabulous multi-instrumentalist with a number of achievements under his belt (or his guitar strap, if you will…). Alex has always loved music, playing guitar from a young age, and picking up many more instruments along the way. A speaker of the Scottish Gaelic language, Alex has also helped to introduce songs sung in the language to The Hikers' repertoire, expanding their musical knowledge and talents. Alex also sings the Tenor parts for The Hikers and plays the banjo, the mandolin, and the piano.
