Cameron has been singing since the age of 7 and has been performing since the age of 10. Cameron was born on the 1st of December in Scotland. When he was 7, he discovered his passion for singing after his mother introduced him to the bands she used to play to help him sleep as a young child. At age 10 he started performing in a theatre group. At the age of 12, he quit acting to pursue a career in singing. At age 6, Cameron met Hikers bandmate Alex Thomas Crawford at school and at age 14, they created The Hikers in 2021.

Alex was born on the 11th of January in Scotland. Alex never considered himself much of a singer due to playing guitar as his primary instrument, but he soon discovered he was a natural tenor with a large range. He started singing on his own with his guitar, mainly John Denver and rarely performing

Alex was born on the 11th of January in Scotland. Alex never considered himself much of a singer due to playing guitar as his primary instrument, but he soon discovered he was a natural tenor with a large range. He started singing on his own with his guitar, mainly John Denver and rarely performing a song he'd written. At age 11 he performed at his cousin's wedding performing a rendition of John Denver's 'Annie’s Song'. At age 14, he teamed up with Cameron Rankin to form The Hikers.

Bowie is our band elf. He only really joins us at Christmas time, so keep an eye out for him at our Christmas shows! He also has a habit of trying to have a shot with Alex's instruments....

Scott has been the manager of The Hikers since 2022, coming into the role following the departure of our previous manager. Scott is incredibly proud of the way Cameron and Alex have been able to work in order to keep The Hikers going despite their personal lives involving other aspects.
