Band Statement - William Scott Rankin
The Hikers have today issued a statement regarding band manager Wiliam Scott Rankin.
Scott joined The Hikers as band manager in 2022 following the departure of our previous manager, Zakk Crawford, stepping into the role to help The Hikers on their path as musicians.
As of Wednesday, October 1st 2025, Scott will be stepping down from the role. This comes after discussions with both Alex and Cameron who would like to thank him for his immense service over the last three years.
Although Scott will no longer be in an active role with The Hikers, he will still be supporting the band in their future endeavours and successes.
Scott, we thank you for everything over the years, and wish you all the very best.
Further updates regarding the appointment of an interim manager will be announced in due course.
